Sunil K. Manvada, is a Registered Physiotherapist with
the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s
Program in Physiotherapy from Manipal University- India. As such, he is perfectly
fluent in the Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages.
Sunil completed his Master’s program in Musculo-Skeletal (Orthopedic)
Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy. He obtained his Manual Therapy training
from the faculties of Loma Linda University, United States and directly from
Physiotherapists who were trained at the University of South Australia.
Sunil has more than 12 years of experience in treating patients with complex
Neurological and Musculoskeletal problems. He keeps pace with the latest advances
in Physiotherapy. He has special interest and formal training at the Master’s level in
Neural Tissue, Maitland, McKenzie and Mulligan’s mobilization techniques that are
used for disorders of the Spine (Low Back & Neck Pain).
God given hands are better than Man made machines and this shows in
Sunil’s treatment approach. He will work closely with the Medical Doctors at
our Bristol office to offer the best treatment options for the correct diagnosis.
Sunil has a very sound academic background. Before arriving in Canada he
worked as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of the Physiotherapy
at Sikkim Manipal University in India. At one point he was the Principal of Swatantra
Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation: a post-graduate Physiotherapy
institute affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
He has conducted more then 20 Physiotherapy hands on workshops for Registered
Physiotherapists all across India and is actively involved in bringing awareness of the
preventative measures in the Geriatric population here in Mississauga.
Sound academic knowledge, vast clinical exposure and dedication enable Sunil
to offer the best Physiotherapeutic care. He is “Committed to Restore” the lost

Loida Mata is a Resident Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from the Philippines and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has over twelve years of practical experience in Physiotherapy along with Geriatric, Orthopedic and Neurological rehabilitation. During her career, Loida obtained hands-on experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions.
Loida has strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrates a natural ability to work in a collaborative team environment responding to multiple tasks and constant change. She has the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of all ages.
She has attended many Workshops and continuing medical education programs to upgrade her knowledge and clinical skills. This extra training will enable her to treat clients with greater efficiency and advanced clinical skills.
In summary, Loida’s educational background in Physiotherapy combined with her practical experience will be best utilized as a team member here at Mississauga Wellness allowing her to deliver state of the art physiotherapy treatments.
