Dr. Hien Vo
earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from New York Chiropractic College. Before entering his studies in New York, Dr. Vo completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto with a specialist in molecular biology and genetics. It was during this time that he also served in research programs in both genome mapping and neurophysiological pain algorithms. There he gained valuable experiences not only in biological functions, but developing creative methodology.
Dr. Vo honed his craft while providing care to many underprivileged senior citizens in New York State during his internship. He was also an athletic trainer assistant to the Buffalo Gladiators Semi-Pro Football team where he treated a variety of injuries ranging from acute sprains to chronic joint subluxations. Aside from modalities (such as Ultrasound and IFC), Dr. Vo combines the use of both manual spinal joint manipulations and rehabilitation exercises to restore optimal function and health to his patients.
Being a part of a fully integrative health model has always been a goal for Dr. Vo. He enjoys working along side other health professionals at Mississauga Wellness to provide the best possible care for the patient. Dr. Vo has also been a part-time high school teacher and although he misses the gratification of teaching young minds, he is extremely excited to devote his career to the science and art of Chiropractic and pinnacle patient care.
