Erin Chou, RMT & Acupuncturist; is registered with the CMTO and member of RMTAO & CAATCM. She completed her massage therapy diploma and acupuncture diploma programs in Toronto. Erin speaks Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Vietnamese too. She has enjoyed treating many patients from these Asian communities. Because of her great interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Erin offers electro-acupuncture to strengthen the effect of ordinary acupuncture. She also uses other modalities during her acupuncture treatments, such as:
  1. Far Infrared Mineral Lamp Therapy (FIR Therapy)” to replace moxibustion. In TCM, moxibustion is commonly used to achieve best results of acupuncture treatment in many conditions.
  2. "Cupping(Ba-Guan)” is often used for wandering pain/muscle tension due to common cold, overuse, congestion or blood stasis.
  3. "Scraping (Gua-Sha)” serves similar purposes as cupping but utilizes a different tool for smaller body areas or areas not suitable for cupping.
Erin also offers “Acusage Treatments (acupuncture/or modalities combined with massage). She enjoys the way they bring speedy recoveries for her patients especially those who experience chronic pain due to: muscle strain/spasm/cramping, tendonitis, ligament sprain, joint discomfort, and nerve related causes.

Erin is a strong believer in… “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."

Erin’s goal of treatment is to achieve harmony among body, mind and spirit. By sharing her holistic approach, she strives to turn each treatment into a great retreat for every patient who comes into her therapeutic world. Erin is a valuable addition to the Mississauga Wellness team of professionals.
